My family and I are just starting to get into camping. We rented the Coleman Montana 6 tent from the Outdoor Rec on base last weekend for a one night trip. It was extremely easy to put up, we didn’t even need the instructions. If you are using an air mattress, the tent will not fit 6 people.
My husband and I put a queen size mattress on one end, and it was a very tight fit for all 5 of us, and the youngest is a two year old. I’m sure it will fit 6 if you don’t use the mattress. It rained for about 20 minutes in the morning, and the rain was pooling on top of the tent and started leaking through on the kids. Not a great wake up at 6 am! I’m glad we were only renting it, because if I had spent money on the Coleman Montana 6, I would have returned it the next morning.
