The Best Family Camping Tent Prices Online

Family Camping Tents & ActivitiesThank you for visiting!

Although we specialize in family camping tents, we also have a ton of information on other tents for camping as well as a lot of the most popular camping accessories. We encourage you to do your homework when buying your camping tent. There are a lot of great tents out there that are built to last for years, and others that can’t even make it through a weekend.

We try to weed out the less desirable tent brands and models for your convenience but, we do post and review some of the “not-so-good” models that are selling well, but leaving their owners displeased with what they got for their money. Price is always an important aspect of any purchase but, in the tent world it’s not hard to find examples where and extra $40 spent could add 10 years to time of ownership.

Also, if you’re new to camping there are a few things to remember when buying your camping tent that will help you to make a better decision when you purchase.

  1. Dome tents are rounded from the ground to the top, and generally set up faster than cabin tents
  2. Cabin tents have vertical walls and taller ceilings for much more room, but are usually heavier tents
  3. Check to be sure your tent is made from fire retardant materials
  4. Always get a tent that says it will handle more people than you have in your family (this leaves room for gear and shoes)
  5. Be warned that most camping tents don’t come with sealed seams for waterproofing (kit sold separately) unless specifically listed in tent features

Our family tents are organized in to easy to find groups to help you rapidly identify exactly what you’re looking for. You can start exploring for new tents by using our site search at the top, clicking the search words in the right column, or just clicking a tent category image below to narrow your results:
